‘Home Is…’ A travelling pop-up event that hosts a unique collective of independent interior designers and boutique homeware brands in core UK cities including Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.

1:00pmCreate Your Own Art with Swoon Worthy Design Blog. Kimberly Hughes is an interior design blogger who’s home has appeared in magazines and blogs worldwide. Her ethos of getting a glamorous look on a small budget resonates with the tens of thousands of visitors to her blog, Swoon Worthy, every month.  Kimberly will be discussing the latest trends as well as running a workshop allowing participants to create their own colourful abstract art using inexpensive materials with dramatic results.  She’ll also be showcasing her own artwork at the event.

2:00pmCushion Cover Workshop with the Chorlton Sewing Bee, My Craftea Day. Suitable for basic and intermediate sewers, this workshop will demonstrate how to make a simple cushion cover from vintage fabric with either a zip or button fastening. There is will 8 sewing machine stations and all fabrics and materials will be provided.

Following the huge success of our Spring launch event, we look forward to inspiring Manchester’s interior enthusiasts by showcasing our previous exhibitors latest works as well as introducing a whole host of fresh and exciting talent from the Northern design scene.

Working with a unique collective of designers and artists, nesting between the Midlands and Scottish boarder, we look forward to showcasing a handpicked curation of modernized traditional crafts and art forms.  Expect to see intricate wirework, typography, up-cycled furniture, illustration, bespoke lighting, ceramics and more!
